Tia is a second year student studying for her MBA and MA in Education at Stanford University.

Tia is originaly from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (she is a huge fan of Philadelphia sports). After secondary school, Tia attended the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill, from which she graduated in 2000 with a BA in Political Science.

Following UNC, Tia taught for three years at Pinkston Street Elementary School in North Carolina through the Teach for America (TFA) program. She then moved to London to help start Teach First, a non-profit organization based on TFA. While there she worked as the Director of Training and Support.

After Stanford Tia will work in the London office of McKinsey and Company.
